Delhi HC on Cow Slaughtering: গো হত্যা নিষেধাজ্ঞায় কেন্দ্রকে অনুমতি দিল না আদালত
গো হত্যার উপর নিষেধাজ্ঞা দাবি করে দিল্লি হাইকোর্টে একটি জনস্বার্থ মামলা দায়ের করেছিলেন বৃষভান ভার্মা নামের এক ব্যক্তি।
গো হত্যা পুরোপুরি নিষিদ্ধ করতে কেন্দ্রকে অনুমতি দিল না দিল্লি হাইকোর্ট (Delhi High Court)। এই বিষয়ে যেকোনো পদক্ষেপের জন্য উপযুক্ত আইনসভার কাছে যেতে হবে বলে জানিয়েছে প্রধান বিচারপতি সতীশ চন্দ্র শর্মার নেতৃত্বাধীন একটি বেঞ্চ। গো হত্যার উপর নিষেধাজ্ঞা দাবি করে দিল্লি হাইকোর্টে একটি জনস্বার্থ মামলা দায়ের করেছিলেন বৃষভান ভার্মা নামের এক ব্যক্তি। বয়স্ক গরু, মোষ, ষাঁড় সহ সমস্ত রকম গো হত্যায় নিষেধাজ্ঞা জানিয়ে আদালতে আদেবন জানিয়েছিলেন তিনি। সোমবার সেই মামলা চলাকালীনই এই রায় দিয়েছে প্রধান বিচারপতি সতীশ চন্দ্র শর্মার নেতৃত্বাধীন বেঞ্চ।
