গুজরাট: গণেশ পুজোয় (Ganesh Puja) উত্তপ্ত গুজরাট। সুরাটে (Surat) গণেশ পুজোর প্যান্ডেলে গতকাল পাথর ছোঁড়ার অভিযোগ উঠেছে। ঘটনায় পর ব্যাপক হট্টগোল শুরু হয়, রাস্তায় বসে জয় শ্রীরাম স্লোগান দিতে শুরু করে ক্ষুব্ধ জনতা। পাথর ছোড়ার ঘটনায় ২৭ জনকে গ্রেফতার করেছে পুলিশ। আজ ডিসিপি ভগীরথ গাধভি বলেছেন, ‘গতকাল পাথর ছোঁড়ার ঘটনার পর থেকেই সেখানে পুলিশ মোতায়েন রয়েছে। পরিস্থিতি এখন শান্তিপূর্ণ, আমরা এলাকা নিরাপত্তায় ঘিরে রেখেছি। মানুষ শান্তিপূর্ণভাবে তাঁদের দৈনন্দিন কাজকর্ম চালাচ্ছেন।’
