নয়াদিল্লি: কংগ্রেস সাংসদ শশী থারুরের (Congress MP Shashi Tharoor) নেতৃত্বাধীন প্রতিনিধিদল পানামার বিদেশমন্ত্রী (Panamanian Foreign Minister) জাভিয়ের মার্টিনেজ আচার সঙ্গে সাক্ষাৎ করেছেন। এই সাক্ষাতে পাকিস্তানের মদদপুষ্ট সন্ত্রাসবাদের বিরুদ্ধে ভারতের দৃঢ় অবস্থান তুলে ধরেন শশী থারুর।
পানামায় এক সমাবেশে ভাষণ দেওয়ার সময় কংগ্রেস সাংসদ শশী থারুর বলেন, “আমাদের সর্বদা নীতিগতভাবে আমাদের বিশ্বাসী মূল্যবোধের পক্ষে দাঁড়াতে হবে এবং আমাদের ভয় ছাড়াই বাঁচতে হবে, যে ভয় থেকে মুক্তির জন্যই আজকাল ভারতে আমাদের লড়াই করতে হবে সেইসব দুষ্ট লোকদের বিরুদ্ধে, যাদেরকে বিশ্ব সন্ত্রাসী বলে ডাকে, কিন্তু যারা বিশ্বাস করে যে এই ধরণের কাজ করে আমাদের দেশে প্রবেশ করে, নিরীহ মানুষকে হত্যা করে এবং আবার পালিয়ে যায় যাতে তারা কোনওভাবে বৃহত্তর রাজনৈতিক বা ধর্মীয় উদ্দেশ্য অর্জন করতে পারে, যেমনটি আপনি কল্পনা করতে পারেন, এটি এমন কিছু নয় যার কাছে কোনও আত্মমর্যাদাশীল দেশ আত্মসমর্পণ করবে, এমনকি মহাত্মা গান্ধীর দেশও যখন এটি ঘটবে তখন অন্য গাল ঘুরিয়ে দেবে না, আমরা জবাব দেব।"
