Bharat Bandh: দলিত-আদিবাসীদের ‘ভারত বনধ’-এ পুলিশের সঙ্গে বচসা, ধস্তাধস্তি
জেহানাবাদে বনধ সমর্থক ও পুলিশের মধ্যে ধস্তাধস্তি শুরু হয়েছে।
নয়াদিল্লি: সুরক্ষার দাবিতে আজ ‘ভারত বনধ’ (Bharat Bandh)-এর ডাক দিয়েছে দলিত (Dalit) ও আদিবাসী (Adivasi) সংগঠনগুলি। তফসিলি জাতি এবং জনজাতিদের সংরক্ষণ নিয়ে সুপ্রিম কোর্ট সম্প্রতি একটি নির্দেশ দিয়েছে। সুপ্রিম কোর্টের রায়ে জানানো হয়, তফসিলি জাতি এবং জনজাতি সমাজের মধ্যে যারা আর্থিকভাবে স্বচ্ছল তাঁদের সংরক্ষণ বাতিল করে দেওয়া হবে। তফসিলিজাতি এবং জনজাতি যারা সমাজের আর্থিকভাবে পিছিয়ে পড়া মানুষ তাঁদের বাড়তি সুবিধা দেওয়া হবে। তারই প্রতিবাদে রাস্তায় নেমেছে দলিত-আদিবাসী সংগঠনগুলি। জেহানাবাদে (Jehanabad) বনধ সমর্থক ও পুলিশের মধ্যে ধস্তাধস্তি শুরু হয়েছে।
