Wayanad Landslide: 'এখনও কেন্দ্রের বিশেষ সাহায্যের অপেক্ষায়'; ওয়েনাড ভূমিধসে কেরালার মুখ্যমন্ত্রী পিনারাই বিজয়ন

নয়াদিল্লি: বন্যায় বিধ্বস্ত ওয়েনাড (Wayanad)। কেরালার মুখ্যমন্ত্রী পিনারাই বিজয়ন (Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan) বলেছেন, ‘ওয়েনাড বিপর্যয়ের ফলে যে ক্ষয়ক্ষতি হয়েছে তা অপরিসীম। আমরা কেন্দ্রীয় সরকারের কাছ থেকে কার্যকর সাহায্যের আশা করেছিলাম, কিন্তু এখনও পর্যন্ত, এই ধরনের কোনও সাহায্য করা হয়নি। কেন্দ্রীয় অংশ ছাড়াও এই বছরের জন্য আমরা জরুরি ত্রাণ হিসাবে ২৯১.২ কোটি টাকা দেওয়ার অনুরোধ করেছি। ১৪৫.৬ কোটি টাকার প্রথম কিস্তি এখন ১৪৫.৬ কোটি টাকা দেওয়া হয়েছে। তবে এটি স্বাভাবিক প্রক্রিয়ার অংশ, বিশেষ বিপর্যয়মূলক সহায়তা নয়। ওয়েনাড ভূমিধসে বাবা-মা উভয়কে হারানো ছয়টি শিশুকে প্রত্যেককে ১০ লাখ টাকা এবং মেপ্পাদি চুরামালা থেকে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত পরিবারগুলিকে পুনর্বাসনের জন্য ৫ লাখ টাকা করে নেদুম্বালা এস্টেট তৈরি করা হবে।’ দেখুন-
