নয়াদিল্লি: ভারত-বাংলাদেশ সীমান্তে নিরাপত্তা জোরদার এবং অবৈধ অনুপ্রবেশ রোধে ভারতীয় আইনশৃঙ্খলা বাহিনীর কঠোর নজরদারি চলছে। অবৈধভাবে সীমান্ত পারাপার এবং জাল নথি ব্যবহারের অভিযোগে ভারতে বাংলাদেশি নাগরিকদের গ্রেফতারের একাধিক ঘটনা ঘটেছে। বুধবার মারিয়া খাতুন নামে এক বাংলাদেশি মহিলাকে অবৈধভাবে ভারতে প্রবেশ এবং জাল কাগজপত্র ব্যবহার করে ভারতীয় পাসপোর্ট ব্যবহারের অভিযোগে মুম্বই বিমানবন্দর (Mumbai Airport) থেকে গ্রেফতার করা হয়েছে।
সূত্রে খবর, অভিযুক্ত মহিলা ৩৩ বছর ধরে ভারতে বসবাস করেন এবং জাল পাসপোর্ট ব্যবহার করে ছয় বছর ধরে কুয়েতে কাজ করেছিলেন। কুয়েত থেকে ভারতে আসার পর তাঁকে ইমিগ্রেশন কর্মকর্তারা আটক করেন এবং পরে সাহার পুলিশের হাতে তুলে দেন, তাঁরা মামলা দায়ের করে মহিলাকে গ্রেফতার করেছে।
