গভীর রাতে বিধ্বংসী অগ্নিকাণ্ডের ঘটনা ঘটল উত্তরপ্রদেশের আমরোহার (Amroha) কাকর সরাই রোড এলাকায় নগর কোতওয়ালিতে অবস্থিত একটি কারখানায়। আগুনের লেলিহান শিখায় ভষ্মীভূত হয়ে গিয়েছে কারখানায় মজুত রাখা তুলো। প্রায় কয়েক কোটি টাকার জিনিসপত্র নষ্ট হয়েছে। প্রাথমিক তদন্তে জানা যাচ্ছে, শট সার্কিটের কারণেই এই ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে। ঘটনাস্থলে রয়েছে দমকলের বেশ কয়েকটি ইঞ্জিন। যদিও গভীর রাতে আগুন লাগায় হতাহতের কোনও খবর নেই। তবে আগুন এখনও নিয়ন্ত্রণে আসেনি। ফলে পরিস্থিতি নিয়ন্ত্রণে এলে বোঝা যাবে যে কীভাবে আগুন লেগেছে।
