মুম্বইতে (Mumbai) যে কোনও দোকানের নাম লিখতে গেলে প্রথমে ব্যবহার করতে হবে মারাঠি ভাষা। । যে কোনও দোকানের মাথায় থাকবে মারাঠি (Marathi),তারপর অন্য ভাষা ব্যবহার করা যাবে। এমনই নির্দেশ দেওয়া হল বিএমসির (BMC) তরফে। শুধু তাই নয়, মারাঠির প্রথম শব্দের ফন্ট বড় হতে হবে বলেও বিএমসির তরফে নির্দেশ দেওয়া হয়েছে।
