গত বুধবার প্রয়াত হন গোয়ালিয়রের রাজমাতা মাধবী রাজে সিন্ধিয়া (Madhavi Raje Scindia)। সেপসিস ও নিউমোনিয়ায় দীর্ঘদিন ধরে ভুগছিলেন তিনি। বৃহস্পতিবার সকালে তাঁর মরদেহ বাসভবনে নিয়ে আসেন ছেলে জ্যোতিরাদিত্য সিন্ধিয়া। মাধবী রাজেকে শেষবারের জন্য দেখতে বাসভবনের সামনে ভিড় জমান অসংখ্য মানুষ। জানা যাচ্ছে, এখানে কিছুক্ষণ রাখার পর রাজমাতার মরদেহকে শেষকৃত্যের জন্য নিয়ে যাওয়া হবে। বাসভবনে একাধিক বিশিষ্ট ব্যক্তিরা ভিড় জমিয়েছেন মাধবী রাজেকে শেষশ্রদ্ধা জানাতে।
