Mohali Building Collapse: বছর শেষের মুখে যেন বাড়ছে ভয়াবহ সব দুর্ঘটনার সংখ্যা। শনিবার সন্ধ্যায় পাঞ্জাবের মোহালিতে মর্মান্তিক ঘটনা ঘটল। শাহানা সাইনি বাগে ছ'তলার এক বহুতল ভেঙে পড়েছে। চোখের সামনে তাসের ঘরের মত হুড়মুড়িয়ে ভেঙে পড়ে আস্ত বহুতল। ধ্বংসস্তূপের নীচে আটকে পড়েন প্রায় ২০ জন। রাতভর উদ্ধারকাজ চলায় জাতীয় বিপর্যয় মোকাবিলা বাহিনী এবং সেনা কর্মী। আহত অবস্থায় উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে প্রায় ১৩ জনকে। রবিবার সকালে ধ্বংসস্তূপ সরিয়ে মিলল দুটি মৃতদেহ। মৃতদের মধ্যে রয়েছেন হিমাচল প্রদেশের বাসিন্দা বছর কুড়ির এক তরুণী। অপরজন হরিয়ানার আম্বালার বাসিন্দা এক পুরুষ। বহুতলের মালিক পারবিন্দর সিং এবং গগনদীপ সিং-এর বিরুদ্ধে মামলা দায়ের করেছে পুলিশ।
