মিজোরামে নির্মীয়মান রেলওয়ে ব্রিজ ভেঙে মৃত ১৭ । ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে মিজোরামের সাইরাং এলাকাতে। এখনও পর্যন্ত বেশ কিছু মানুষ ধ্বসস্তুপের নীচে চাপা পড়ে রয়েছে বলে জানা গেছে।আইজল থেকে ২১ কিমি দূরে সকাল ১০ টার সময় এই ঘটনা ঘটেছে বলে জানা যাচ্ছে।
ঘটনার জেরে প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদীর তরফে আর্থিক সাহায্য ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে। মৃতদের পরিবারকে ২ লক্ষ টাকা করে সাহায্যে করার কথা জানানো হয়েছে। দুর্ঘটনায় নিহতদের জন্য শোকপ্রকাশ েবং আহতদের আরোগ্য কামনা করেছেন টুইট করেছেন তিনি। ঘটনাস্থলে পৌছেছে উদ্ধারকারী দল। ঘটনাস্থলে পৌছেছেন রেলওয়ের আধিকারিকরা।
