Karnataka HC warns Facebook: রাজ্যপুলিশের সঙ্গে অসহযোগীতা, ফেসবুক বন্ধের হুঁশিয়ারি কর্ণাটক হাইকোর্টের

কর্ণাটক পুলিশের সঙ্গে অসহযোগীতা করার অভিযোগে এবার হুঁশিয়ারির মুখে পড়ল ফেসবুক কর্তৃপক্ষ। কর্ণাটক হাইকোর্টের তরফে সামাজিক এই মাধ্যমকে ভারতে বন্ধ করার হুঁশিয়ারি দেওয়া হয়।
ঘটনার সূত্রপাত, সৌদি আরবে এক ভারতীয় বন্দির তদন্তের ঘটনায় ফেসবুকের সহযোগীতা চেয়েছিল কর্ণাটক পুলিশ, কিন্তু ফেসবুক তাতে অসহযোগীতা করায় কর্ণাটক হাইকোর্টের তরফে দেওয়া হল এই হুঁশিয়ারি।
ম্যাঙ্গালুরুর কাছে বিকারনাকাটে নামক এক জায়গা থেকে কবিতা নামের এক মহিলা পিটিশন দাখিল করেন। সেই পিটিশনের শুনানিতে ফেসবুককে কড়া ভাষায় হুঁশিয়ারি দেন বিচারপতি কৃষ্ণা এস দিক্ষিতের বেঞ্চ।
