কর্ণাটকে আত্তিবেলিতে বাজি কারখানায় আগুন লাগার জেরে মৃত ১৪। জানা গেছে রবিবার ভোর ৩.৩০ নাগাদ এই ঘটনাটি ঘটে। ট্রাক থেকে মাল বের করার সময় হঠাৎই আগুন লেগে যায় বাজির গোডাউনে। দোকানটিতে মোট ৩৫ জন কর্মচারী ছিলেন বলে জানা গেছে।
ঘটনার পরপরই সেখানে পৌছয় পুলিশ। খবর দেওয়া হয় দমকলে। ঘটনার জেরে গ্রেফতার করা হয়েছে বাজি দোকানের মালিক এবং তার পুত্রকে। আইন অনুযায়ী তাদের ওপর ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া হবে বলে জানা গেছে।
প্রশাসনের তরফে মৃতদেরকে ৩ লক্ষ টাকা করে ক্ষতিপূরণ এবং গুরুতর আহতদের ১ লক্ষ টাকা এবং অল্প আহতদের ৫০ হাজার টাকা করে ক্ষতিপূরণ দেওয়ার কথা ঘোষণা করেছে।
