IT Raids In Bengaluru: বেঙ্গালুরুতে প্রাক্তন কর্পোরেটরের আত্মীয়ের বাড়িতে আয়কর হানা, বাজেয়াপ্ত ৪২ কোটির বেশি

কর্নাটকের (Karnataka) বেঙ্গালুরুর (Bengaluru) এক প্রাক্তন কর্পোরেটরের (former corporator) ঘনিষ্ঠ আত্মীয়ের বাড়িতে হানা দিয়ে ৪২ কোটি টাকার বেশি বাজেয়াপ্ত (seized) করলেন আয়কর (IT) আধিকারিকরা।

সূত্রের খবর, প্রাক্তন ওই কর্পোরেটরের সঙ্গে সম্পর্কিত সম্পত্তি ও বাড়িগুলিতে বৃহস্পতিবার থেকে তল্লাশি অভিযান (raids) শুরু হয়। এরপর তার এক আত্মীয়ের বাড়ি থেকে বাজেয়াপ্ত হয় ৪২ কোটির বেশি টাকা। তদন্তকারীরা জানাচ্ছেন, টাকাগুলো কার্টুনের মধ্যে পুড়ে খাটের নিচে লুকিয়ে রাখা হয়েছিল। আয়কর দফতরের লোকেরা ওই কর্পোরেটরের সঙ্গে সম্পর্কযুক্ত পাঁচটি জায়গায় তল্লাশি চালায়।
