ভারতীয় আবহাওয়া অধিদপ্তর (IMD) আগামী ৪ থেকে ৫ দিন ধরে পূর্ব ও উপদ্বীপ ভারতে ভারী বৃষ্টিপাতের পূর্বাভাস দিয়েছে। আবহাওয়া সংস্থার মতে, আজ উপ-হিমালয় পশ্চিমবঙ্গ এবং সিকিমে ভারী থেকে অতি ভারী বৃষ্টিপাতের সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে। আজ পূর্ব মধ্যপ্রদেশে এবং আগামী ৩ থেকে ৪ দিন ধরে ছত্তিশগড়, বিহার এবং ওড়িশায় ভারী বৃষ্টিপাতের পরিস্থিতি থাকবে। দক্ষিণ উপদ্বীপ ভারতে, আগামীকাল পর্যন্ত তামিলনাড়ু, কেরালা, মাহে, দক্ষিণ অভ্যন্তরীণ কর্ণাটক, উপকূলীয় অন্ধ্র প্রদেশ, ইয়ানাম এবং তেলেঙ্গানায় এই পরিস্থিতি বিরাজ করবে।
