এছাড়া পালঘর, থানে, মুম্বই, রত্নাগিরি, সিন্ধুদুর্গা, অহিল্যা নগর, পুনে, সাতারা এবং মারাঠওয়াড়া অঞ্চলের বাসিন্দাদের বজ্রপাত সহ ঝড়ের জন্য প্রস্তুত থাকতে হবে। হালকা থেকে মাঝারি বৃষ্টিপাতের পাশাপাশি উক্ত জেলাগুলিতে প্রতি ঘণ্টায় ৩০ থেকে ৪০ কিলোমিটার বেগে দমকা হাওয়ার প্রভাবও থাকতে পারে।
মহারাষ্ট্রের বেশ কয়েকটি অঞ্চলের জন্য হলুদ সতর্কতা জারি করল ভারতের আবহাওয়া বিভাগ (IMD)। সতর্কতা বার্তায় হাওয়া অফিস জানিয়েছে আগামী দুই দিনের মধ্যে মহারাষ্ট্রে বজ্রপাত সহ ভারী থেকে অতি ভারী বৃষ্টিপাতের সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে। এছাড়া পালঘর, থানে, মুম্বই, রত্নাগিরি, সিন্ধুদুর্গা, অহিল্যা নগর, পুনে, সাতারা এবং মারাঠওয়াড়া অঞ্চলের বাসিন্দাদের বজ্রপাত সহ ঝড়ের জন্য প্রস্তুত থাকতে হবে। হালকা থেকে মাঝারি বৃষ্টিপাতের পাশাপাশি উক্ত জেলাগুলিতে প্রতি ঘণ্টায় ৩০ থেকে ৪০ কিলোমিটার বেগে দমকা হাওয়ার প্রভাবও থাকতে পারে। এছাড়াও আইএমডি সতর্ক করেছে যে সাংলি এবং সোলাপুরে বজ্রপাত এবং ভারী বৃষ্টিপাতের সাথে বজ্র বিদ্যুতসহ ঝড় হতে পারে। এর ফলে নিচু এলাকায় আকস্মিক বন্যাও হতে পারে।
