Ghats In Varanasi Are Submerged: বিপদসীমায় বইছে গঙ্গা, বারাণসীর একাধিক ঘাট ডুবে যাচ্ছে, দেখুন ভিডিয়ো
উত্তরপ্রদেশে (Uttar Pradesh) শুরু হয়েছে এক নাগাড়ে বৃষ্টি (Heavy Rain)। একটানা বর্ষণের জেরে বারাণসীর (Varanasi Ghat) সবচেয়ে বড় ঘাটগুলি ডুবতে শুরু করেছে। গঙ্গার জলের মাত্রা যত বাড়ছে, তত বেশি করে ডুবতে শুরু করেছে বারাণসীর গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ঘাটগুলি। টানা বর্ষণের জেরে জল যখন বাড়তে শুরু করেছে গঙ্গায়, সেই সময় একাধিক বড় এবং গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ঘাটগুলি ডুবতে শুরু করেছে। আসসি ঘাট থেকে দ্বদাশ্বমেঘ ঘাট, নমো ঘাটের বহু অংশ এবং মন্দির প্লাবিত। ফলে গঙ্গার (Ganga) কোনও ঘাটে যাতে মানুষ বেশিদূর না যান, সে বিষয়ে বার বার সতর্ক করা হচ্ছে পুলিশ প্রশাসনের তরফে। রিপোর্টে প্রকাশ, এক নাগাড়ে বর্ষণের জেরে গঙ্গার জলস্তর ৬৮ থেকে প্রায় ৭২ মিটার উঠে গিয়েছে। যা বিপদসঙ্কেত বলেইমনে করা হয়। ফলে গঙ্গার ঘাটে যাতে কেউ না যান, সে বিষয়ে পুলিশ মাইকিং করে প্রচার শুরু করেছে।
