Varanasi: নাবালিকাকে যৌন নির্যাতন, পুলিশি এনকাউন্টারে আহত মূল অভিযুক্ত, হাসপাতালে ভর্তি যুবক

যৌন নির্যাতনের অভিযোগ পেতেই অ্যাকশন মুডে উত্তরপ্রদেশ পুলিশ। কয়েকঘন্টার তল্লাশি অভিযানে আটক মূল অভিযুক্ত। বুধবার সকালে উত্তরপ্রদেশের বারানসীতে (Varanasi) লালপুর থানা এলাকায় এক যৌন হেনস্থার অভিযোগ ওঠে। পরিবারের তরফে অভিযোগ দায়ের করা হয় প্রতিবেশী এক যুবকের বিরুদ্ধে। তদন্তে নেমে পুলিশ জানতে পারে, অভিযুক্ত যুবক পলাতক। তারপরেই শুরু হয় তল্লাশি অভিযান। অবশেষে লালপুরের মধ্যেই করণ নামে ওই যুবকের সন্ধান পাওয়া যায়। পুলিশ তাঁকে ধরতে গেলে বন্দুক চালিয়ে হামলা করে। পাল্টা এনকাউন্টারে তাঁর পায়ে গুলি লাগে। এরপর আহত অবস্থায় তাঁকে হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করা হয়। পরবর্তীকালে তাঁকে গ্রেফতার করে পুলিশ। অন্যদিকে, নির্যাতিতা হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন।
