Medicine Price Hike: ওষুধের দাম সব ক্ষেত্রে বাড়েনি, দাবি কেন্দ্রীয় স্বাস্থ্যমন্ত্রী মনসুখ মাণ্ডব্যর

নিত্য প্রয়োজনীয় ওষুধের দাম বাড়ানো হয়েছে। হোলসেল প্রাইস ইনডেস্কে (Wholesale Price Index) সূচক বৃদ্ধি পাওয়ায় দাম বেড়েছে এই সব ওষুধগুলির। ৮০০টি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ওষুধের পাইকারি দাম অন্তত ১২ শতাংশ বাড়ছে বলে খবর। হ্যালোথেন, কেটামাইন, নাইট্রস অক্সাইড সহ নানা ওষুধের দাম বাড়ার এমন খবর প্রকাশিত হওয়ার পর কেন্দ্র সরকারের সমালোচনা করেন কংগ্রেস সভাপতি মল্লিকার্জুন খাড়গে।

এই বিষয়ে বলতে গিয়ে কেন্দ্রীয় স্বাস্থ্যমন্ত্রী মনসুখ মাণ্ডব্য দাবি করলেন, ওষুধের দাম বেড়েছে বলে বিভিন্ন টুইটের মাধ্যমে যে প্রচার চলছে, তার সত্য়িটা হল যদি কোম্পানিগুলি WPI-এর ভিত্তিতে দাম বাড়িয়েছে ঠিকই, কিন্তু তার ফলে কিছু ক্ষেত্রে সুবিধা হতে পারে।"
