Electoral Bonds scheme is violative of Article 19(1)(a): নির্বাচনী বন্ড অবৈধ ও অসাংবিধানিক, রায়দান করে জানাল সুপ্রিম কোর্ট
নির্বাচনী বন্ড স্কিমকে 19(1)(a) ধারার লঙ্ঘন করে তাঁকে অসাংবিধানিক বলে রায় দিল সুপ্রিম কোর্ট ৷ এককথায় বলা যেতে পারে লোকসভা নির্বাচনের আগে নির্বাচনী বন্ড প্রকল্পকে বাতিল করল সুপ্রিম কোর্ট। সুপ্রিম কোর্ট বলেছে, নির্বাচনী বন্ড প্রকল্প অসাংবিধানিক, তাই তাঁকে বাতিল করতে হবে।
নির্বাচনে কালো টাকার সরবরাহ রুখতে ২০১৮ সালে কেন্দ্রীয় সরকার এই প্রকল্প এনেছিল। কিন্তু অস্বচ্ছতার অভিযোগ এনে তা চ্যালেঞ্জ করে বিরোধীরা। গত বছরই প্রধান বিচারপতি ডিওয়াই চন্দ্রচূড়ের নেতৃত্বে পাঁচ বিচারপতির বেঞ্চ এই মামলার সম্পূর্ণ শুনানি শেষ করে। আজ সেই মামলারই রায়দান করলেন প্রধান বিচারপতির নেতৃত্বে পাঁচ বিচারপতির বেঞ্চ।
