Drug peddler’s property attached in Baramulla: বারামুল্লায় কুখ্যাত মাদকপাচারকারীর সম্পত্তি বাজেয়াপ্ত করল জম্মু-কাশ্মীর পুলিশ
মাদকপাচারকাণ্ডে গ্রেফতার আফরোজা বেগম (Afroza Begum) নামে এক মহিলার বাড়ি বাজেয়াপ্ত করল জম্মু-কাশ্মীর পুলিশ (J&K Police)। জানা গিয়েছে, ১৫ লক্ষ টাকা মুল্যের এই বাড়িটি বুধবারই বাজেয়াপ্ত করে পুলিশ প্রশাসন। বাড়িটি অবস্থিত বারামুল্লা (Baramulla) জেলার ট্রামগুন্ড হাইগাম সোপোরে (Trumgund Hygam Sopore)। তদন্তসূত্রে জানা যায়, আসলে ওই অপরাধী মাদক পাচারের টাকা দিয়ে কিনেছিল ওই সম্পত্তি। পাশাপাশি এও জানা যায়, মাদক ব্যবসার জন্য এই বাড়িটি ব্যবহার করতো কুখ্যাত ব্যবসায়ী। নারকোটিক বিভাগ এবং জম্মু কাশ্মীর পুলিশের যৌথ উদ্যোগে অভিযান চালিয়ে আফরোজা ছাড়াও এলিয়াস আফরি নামক আরও এক মহিলাকে গ্রেফতার করেছিল।
