অবশেষে মহিলা কুস্তিগিরদের বিশেষ সুরক্ষার দাবি মানল দিল্লি পুলিশ। বিজেপি সাংসদ তথা কুস্তি ফেডারেশেনর প্রাক্তন সভাপতি ব্রিজ ভূষণ শরণ সিংয়ের বিরুদ্ধে যৌন হেনস্থার অভিযোগ আনা সাত মহিলা কুস্তিগিরকে বিশেষ নিরাপত্তা দিল দিল্লি পুলিশ। তাদের দাবি ছিল, ব্রিজ ভূষণের অনুগামীরা তার বিরুদ্ধে অভিযোগ তুলে নেওয়ার হুমকি দিয়েছে। কুস্তিগিররা সুপ্রিম কোর্টের দ্বারস্থ হওয়ায় ব্রিজ ভূষণের নামে দুটি এফআইআর দায়ের করেছে দিল্লি পুলিশ। তার মধ্যে একটি পসকো আইনের আওতায়।
