নতুন পার্লামেন্টে (Parliament) অধিবেশন চলকালীন হামলা করেছিল কয়েকজন যুবক। এই ঘটনার তদন্ত শেষ করতে দিল্লি পুলিশকে (Delhi Police) ৪৫ দিনের সময়সীমা বেধে দিল আদালত। এর আগে পুলিশের পক্ষ থেকে ৯০ দিনের সময় চাওয়া হয়েছিল। তাঁদের যুক্তি ছিল, কেসটি অনেকটাই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ, সংবেদনশীল এবং বেশকিছু রিপোর্ট আসা বাকি রয়েছে। সেই কারণে সময়সীমা বাড়ানোর আর্জি জানিয়েছিল দিল্লি পুলিশ। কিন্তু আদালতের পক্ষ থেকে সোমবার স্পষ্ট করে দেওয়া হল যে, ৪৫ দিনের থেকে বেশি সময় দেওয়া যাবে না।
