২০১৬ সালে নিখোঁজ হওয়া ভারতীয় (Indian Airforce) বায়ুসেনার একটি বিমানের ধ্বংসাবশেষ মিলল। ২০১৬ সালে ২৯ জনকে নিয়ে ভারতীয় বায়ুসেনার An-32 নামে একটি চপার নিখোঁজ হয়ে যায়। চেন্নাই (Chennai) উপকূল থেকে ৩১০ কিলোমিটার দূরে বঙ্গোপসাগরের (Bay Of Bengal) উপর দিয়ে ওড়ার সময় নিখোঁজ হয়ে যায় বায়ুসেনার বিমানটি। ৭ বছর পর এবার সেই নিখোঁজ বিমানটির খোঁজ মিলেছে। কেন্দ্রীয় প্রতিরক্ষা মন্ত্রকের তরফে জানানো হয়েছে এই খবর। সমুদ্রে ৩,৪০০ মিটার নীচে সমানে খোঁজ শুরু হয়। অনেক খোঁজাখুঁজির পর সমুদ্রের তলদেশ থেকে একাধিক ছবি উঠে আসতে শুরু করে। যা খতিয়ে দেখে শেষ পর্যন্ত জানানো হয়, ২০১৬ সালে বায়ুসেনার An-32 নামের যে বিমানটি নিখোঁজ হয়, এটি তারই ধ্বংসাবশেষ।
