বড়দিন উপলক্ষ্যে দিল্লির খ্রিস্টান সম্প্রদায়ের মানুষদের সঙ্গে এক মিলনোৎসবে মিলিত হলেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদি। ক্রিসমাস উপলক্ষে সেখানে শিশুদের গানের সঙ্গে তাল মেলাতে দেখা যায় তাঁকে। ওই অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধানমন্ত্রী মোদী বলেন, "ক্রিসমাসের এক বক্তৃতায় পবিত্র পোপ একবার যীশু খ্রিস্টের কাছে প্রার্থনা করেছিলেন যে যারা দারিদ্র্য দূর করার চেষ্টা করছেন তাদের আশীর্বাদ করা উচিত ... পবিত্র পোপের এই কথাগুলো আমাদের উন্নয়নের মন্ত্রের সাথে সঙ্গতিপূর্ণ। আমাদের মন্ত্র হল 'সবকা সাথ, সবকা বিশ্বাস, সবকা বিকাশ, সবকা প্রয়াস'। সরকার হিসেবে আমরা নিশ্চিত করছি যে উন্নয়নের সুফল সবার কাছে পৌঁছে যাবে। "
