Bangladesh: বড়দিনের রাতে বাংলাদেশে পুড়িয়ে দেওয়া হল খ্রিস্টানদের ১৭টি বাড়ি
ঘটনায় জড়িত থাকার অভিযোগে চারজনকে গ্রেফতার করেছে পুলিশ।
কলকাতা: বাংলাদেশে এবার আক্রান্ত সংখ্যালঘু খ্রিস্টানরা (Christian)। ক্রিসমাস উৎসবের (Christmas Eve) দিন বাংলাদেশের পার্বত্য চট্টগ্রামের নোটুন টংঝিরি ত্রিপুরা পাড়ায় সংখ্যালঘু খ্রিস্টান সম্প্রদায়ের ১৭টি বাড়ি পুড়িয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে। সূত্রে খবর, বুধবার রাতে লামা উপজেলার ত্রিপুরা পাড়ার বাসিন্দারা যখন বড়দিনের উৎসব পালন করতে বাড়ির বাইরে ছিলেন, সেসময় তাঁদের ১৭টি বাড়িতে আগুন লাগিয়ে দেওয়া হয়। পুলিশ সূত্রে খবর, ঘটনায় জড়িত থাকার অভিযোগে চারজনকে গ্রেফতার করেছে পুলিশ। গ্রেফতারকৃতরা হলেন স্টিফেন ত্রিপুরা, যোয়াকিম ত্রিপুরা, মশৈম্যা ত্রিপুরা ও মহম্মদ ইব্রাহিম।
পার্বত্য চট্টগ্রামে ভূমি সমস্যা দীর্ঘদিনের। পার্বত্য চট্টগ্রাম চুক্তির মাধ্যমে গঠিত পার্বত্য চট্টগ্রাম ভূমিবিরোধ নিষ্পত্তি কমিশনের মাধ্যমে এই সমস্যার সমাধান হওয়ার কথা ছিল।
