Chhattisgarh: সুরাজপুরে হাতির ত্রাস, পিষে মৃত্যু ২ শিশুর
মূলত খাবারের সন্ধানেই বন্য হাতিরা জঙ্গল থেকে লোকালয়ে প্রবেশ করে। আর সেই সময়েই অনেক ক্ষেত্রে স্থানীয়দের উপর হামলার ঘটনা ঘটতে দেখা গিয়েছে।
ছত্তিশগড়ে (Chhattisgarh) হাতির হামলা। পিষে মৃত্যু হল দুই শিশুর। রবিবার ছত্তিশগড়ের সুরাজপুরের প্রেমনগর এলাকায় বন্য হাতির ত্রাসের (Elephant Attack) ঘটনাটি ঘটে। স্বাভাবিকভাবেই আতঙ্কে রয়েছেন স্থানীয়রা। বন দফতরের তরফে এই সময়ে এলাকাবাসীকে শান্ত থাকার অনুরোধ করা হয়েছে। মূলত খাবারের সন্ধানেই বন্য হাতিরা জঙ্গল থেকে লোকালয়ে প্রবেশ করে। আর সেই সময়েই অনেক ক্ষেত্রে স্থানীয়দের উপর হামলার ঘটনা ঘটতে দেখা গিয়েছে। সুরাজপুরে দুটি শিশুর মৃত্যু নিশ্চিত করেছে বন দফতর। পাশাপাশি মৃত দুই শিশুর পরিবারকে সাহায্যের আশ্বাস দিয়েছে প্রশাসন।
