স্বামী (Husband) যদি পুরুষত্বহীন হন, তাহলে স্ত্রী (Wife) একই বাড়িতে না থেকে পৃথক বসবাস করতে পারেন। স্বামীর পুরুষত্বহীনতা স্ত্রীর পৃথক বসবাসের যথেষ্ট কারণ হতে পারে। এবার এমনই মত প্রকাশ করল ছত্তিশগড় হাইকোর্ট (Chhattisgarh HC)। পাশাপাশি স্বামীর পুরুষত্বহীনতার কারণে স্ত্রী পৃথক বসবাস করলেও, তিনি খোরপোষের অধিকারী হবেন। ভারতীয় দণ্ডবিধির ১২৫ ধারায় পৃথক থাকা স্ত্রীকে স্বামীর ভরনপোষণ যোগাতে হবে বলেও জানানো হয় ছত্তিশগড় হাইকোর্টের তরফে।
