উত্তরপ্রদেশের (Uttar Pradesh) ঝাঁসিতে (Jhansi) নিজের স্ত্রীকে ছাদ থেকে ফেলে দিল স্বামী। কী কারণে জানেন? স্বামীর সঙ্গে হুটপাট ঘনিষ্ঠ হতে চাননি স্ত্রী। তার জেরেই স্ত্রীকে ছাদের উপর থেকে ধাক্কা দিয়ে নীচে ফেলে দেয় স্বামী। শুনতে অবাক লাগলেও, এমনই একটি শিউরে ওঠার মত ঘটনা ঘটে গিয়েছে ঝাঁসিতে।
হাসপাতালের (Hospital) খাটে শুয়ে ওই মহিলা জানান, তাঁর স্বামী তাঁকে জোরজবরদস্তি করছিলেন ঘনিষ্ঠ হতে। তিনি রাজি হননি। এরপর তাঁদের বাকবিতণ্ডা শুরু হয়। ঝগড়ার মাঝেই স্বামী তাঁকে ছাদের উপর থেকে ধাক্কা দিয়ে নীচে ফেলে দেয়।
স্ত্রীকে ধাক্কা দিয়ে নীচে ফেলে, সেখান থেকে পালিয়ে যায় স্বামী। মহিলার চিৎকার শুনে আশপাশের লোকজন ছুটি গিয়ে তাঁকে হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করে।
চিকিৎসকরা জানান, ছাদ থেকে ফেলে দেওয়ায়, ওই মহিলার শিরদাড়ায় চোট লেগেছে। ফলে তাঁর চিকিৎসা চলছে বলে জানান চিকিৎসকরা।
