নয়াদিল্লিঃ মধ্যপ্রদেশের (Madhya Pradesh) ছাতারপুর (Chhatapur) জেলার কুতুরা গ্রামের কাছে ধসান নদীতে আকস্মিক বন্যা। যার জেরে কটি দ্বীপে (Island) আটকে পড়লেন ৪৮ জন শ্রমিক। ঘটনাটি ঘটে মঙ্গলবার বিকেলে। জানা গিয়েছে, সেখানে একটি মন্দির নির্মাণের কাজ চলছিল। আচমকাই জলস্তর বাড়তে শুরু করে। প্লাবিত হয় গ্রাম। জলের তলায় হারিয়ে যায় রাস্তা। ফলে ওই দ্বীপেই আটকে থাকেন শ্রমিকেরা। খবর দেওয়া হয় পুলিশে। অবশেষে, বিপর্যয় মোকাবিলা বাহিনীর জওয়ানরা এসে এই ৪৮ জন শ্রমিককে উদ্ধার করেন। তাঁরা সম্পূর্ণ সুস্থ রয়েছেন বলে জানা গিয়েছে।
