Apple Import Duty : বন্যাবিধস্ত হিমাচলে প্রিয়াঙ্কা গান্ধী, আপেল আমদানীতে ২০ শতাংশ ছাড় নিয়ে তুললেন প্রশ্ন
আমেরিকার আপেলে ২০ শতাংশ আমদানী কমানোর ফলে সমস্যায় পড়বেন এদেশের আপেল চাষীরা
আমেরিকা থেকে আপেল ভারতে আসার ক্ষেত্রে ২০ শতাংশ ট্যাক্সে ছাড় দিয়েছে কেন্দ্রীয় সরকার। এবার হিমাচল প্রদেশে বন্যাবিধ্বস্ত এলাকা সফরের সময় আপেলের আমদানীর বিষয়ে আপত্তি জানালেন কংগ্রেস নেত্রী প্রিয়াঙ্কা গান্ধী বঢরা।
এই বিষয়ে তিনি জানান, "এর ফলে আমদানী সহজ হবে এবং সেগুলি আরও সহজভাবে বিক্রি করা যাবে। সিমলায় বড় শিল্পপতিরা আপেলের প্রক্রিয়াকরনের দাম অনেক কমিয়ে দিয়েছেন।যখন আপেলের চাষীরা এখানে সমস্যায় রয়েছেন, কাকে সাহায্য করা উচিত?তাদের না যারা আমেরিকায় চাষী রয়েছেন তাদের?"
বেশ কিছুদিন আগে স্টিল ও অ্যালুমনিয়ামের রপ্তানির বদলে আমেরিকা থেকে আপেল রপ্তানির ক্ষেত্রে ২০ শতাংশ ছাড় দেওয়ার সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়েছিল। এই সিদ্ধান্তের ফলে সিদুঁরে মেঘ দেখতে শুরু করেছেন হিমাচল প্রদেশ, কাশ্মীর সহ দেশের বিভিন্ন প্রান্তের আপেল ব্যবসায়ীরা। তাদের মতে এই সিদ্ধান্তের ফলে দেশের আপেল চাষীরা বিপুল ক্ষতির সম্মুখীন হবেন।
