Maharashtra: এটিএমের ভ্যানে হিসাব বহির্ভূত টাকা! বিপুল পরিমাণে কালো টাকা বাজেয়াপ্ত করল আয়কর দফতর
লোকসভা ভোটের মধ্যে বিজেপি শাসিত মহারাষ্ট্র থেকে উদ্ধার হিসাব বহির্ভূত ৩ কোটি টাকা। জানা যাচ্ছে, শনিবার গভীর রাতে মুম্বইয়ের ভান্ডুপ এলাকা চেক পোস্টে কাছে একটি এটিএম ভ্যানকে আটক করে স্থানীয় পুলিশ। গোপন সূত্রে খবর পেয়েছিল ওই ভ্যানে বিপুল অঙ্কের কালো টাকা রয়েছে। আর তারপরেই তল্লাশি চালানো হয়। সেখান থেকেই উদ্ধার হয় ৩ কোটি টাকা। ইতিমধ্যেই সেই টাকা বাজেয়াপ্ত করেছে আয়কর দফতর (Income Tax Department)। যদিও গাড়ির চালক পলাতক। আপাতত এই ঘটনার তদন্ত চালাচ্ছে তদন্তকারী আধিকারিকরা।
