ইরানের প্রেসিডেন্ট ইব্রাহিম রাইসির পর এবার বিমান ভেঙে মৃত্যু মালাউইয়ের ভাইস প্রেসিডেন্ট (Malawi Vice President) বা উপরাষ্ট্রপতির। বিমান দুর্ঘটনায় মালাউইয়ের ভাইস প্রেসিডেন্ট সাওলোস চিলিমা-সহ (Saulos Chilima) আরও ৯ জনের মৃত্যু হয় বলে খবর। পূর্ব আফ্রিকার শহর মালাউইয়ের ভাইস প্রেসিডেন্ট সাওলোস চিলিমার বিমান পাহাড়ের কোলে ভেঙে পড়ে বলে খবর। যে ঘটনা প্রকাশ্যে আসতেই মালাউইতে শোকের ছায়া নেমে আসে। মালাউইয়ের প্রেসিডেন্ট মঙ্গলবার এই খবর প্রকাশ করে গোটা দেশের মানুষের কাছে শোকবার্তা পৌঁছে দেন। সাওলোস চিলিমা সোমবার সকালে সেনাবাহিনীর বিমানে চেপে যাত্রা করেন। সাওলোস চিলিমার সঙ্গে সেনাবাহিনীর ওই বিমানে আরও ৯ জন ছিলেন। বিমান ভেঙে পড়তেইওই ৯ যাত্রীর মৃত্যু হয় বলে খবর।
