তাইপেইতে পৌঁছে ন্যান্সি পেলোসি বলেন, “তাইওয়ানে গণতন্ত্রের বিকাশ ঘটছে। তাইওয়ান বিশ্বকে প্রমাণ করেছে যে আশা, সাহস ইচ্ছে থাকলে, চ্যালেঞ্জের মুখোমুখি হওয়া সত্ত্বেও শান্তিপূর্ণ ও সমৃদ্ধ ভবিষ্যত গড়ে তোলা যায়।। এখন, আমেরিকার সঙ্গে তাইওয়ানের সম্পর্ক আরও দৃঢ় হয়েছে। সেই বার্তাই আজ আমরা দিচ্ছি।”
