লন্ডন থেকে আসা আমেরিকান এয়ারলাইন্সের সঙ্গে বিমানবন্দরে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকা অন্য একটি বিমানের সংঘর্ষ হয়। বিমান দুটি সংঘর্ষের পর ক্ষতিগ্রস্থ হয়। জেট ব্লু বিমানের 'নাক'পুরোপুরি ভেঙে গিয়েছে। তবে বরাতজোরে কেউ আহত হননি। তবে এই দুর্ঘটনার বিমানবন্দরের কিছু বিমান বাতিল করা হয়। ঘটনার তদন্ত শুরু করেছে FAA।
