ফ্রান্সের (France) জাতীয় নির্বাচনের প্রথম দফায় মূল ভূখণ্ডে ভোটগ্রহণ শেষ হয়েছে। প্রেসিডেন্ট ইমানুয়েল ম্যাকরঁ আইনসভা ভেঙে দিয়ে দেশকে জাতীয় নির্বাচনের দিকে ঠেলে দিয়েছেন। এদিকে জনমত সমীক্ষায় মেরিন লে পেনের ন্যাশনালর র্যালিকে ভোটে অনেকটা এগিয়ে থাকতে দেখা যাচ্ছে। দ্বিতীয় বিশ্বযুদ্ধের পর ফ্রান্সে এই প্রথম অতি দক্ষিনপন্থীরা পার্লামেন্টের দখল করতে পারে বলে আশঙ্কা করা হচ্ছে। সেই সমীক্ষা প্রকাশ্যে আসতেই রবিবার রাত থেকে ফ্রান্স (France) জুড়ে ব্যাপক বিক্ষোভ ছড়ায়। প্যারিসে (Paris) আইফেল টাওয়ারের (Eiffel Tower) সামনে অর্ধনগ্ন হয়ে বিক্ষোভ শুরু করেন মহিলারা। ফ্যাসিবাদের বিরোধী স্লোগান শোনা যায় বিক্ষভকারী 'টপলেস' মহিলাদের কণ্ঠে।
