সৌদিয়া এয়ারলাইনের (Saudia Airline) একটি বিমানে দুর্ঘটনার ইঙ্গিত পেতেই সেটিকে তড়িঘড়়ি অবতরণ করানো হয়। রিয়াধ থেকে পাকিস্তানের (Pakistan) পেশোয়ারের (Peshawar) দিকে উড়ছিল একটি বিমান। মাঝ আকাশ বেয়ে সৌদিয়া এয়ারলাইনের SV792 এই বিমানটি যখন পেশোয়ার বিমানবন্দরে নামতে যায়, সেই সময় সেখানে আগুন দেখা যায়। ওই বিমান অবতরণের সময় সেটির চাকায় আগুন দেখা যায়। ঘটনার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে বিমানের ইঞ্জিন বন্ধ করে দেওয়া হয়। সেই সঙ্গে যাত্রী এবং প্রত্যেক বিমানকর্মীকে নিরাপদে নামানো হয়। কী কারণে ওই ঘটনা, সে বিষয়ে পুঙ্খানুপুঙ্খ বিবরণ খতিয়ে দেখা হচ্ছে বলে সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্তৃপক্ষের তরফে জারি করা হয় বিবৃতি।
