খেরসন (Kherson) প্রদেশ দখলের পর সেখানে নয়া প্রধান বসায় রাশিয়া। ইউক্রেনের খেরসন প্রদেশ দখল করা হয়েছে এবং সেখানে রুশ আধিপত্য কায়েম হবে বলে আগেই ঘোষণা করেন পুতিন। সেই অনুযায়ী খেরসন প্রদেশে নয়া ডেপুটি মেয়র কিরিল ত্রিমিউসোভকে বসানো হয়। খেরসন প্রদেশের ডেপুটি মেয়র পদে বসার কয়েকদিনের মধ্যেই কিরিলের মৃত্যু হয় বলে খবর। যা প্রকাশ্যে আসতেই জল্পনা ছড়ায়। মস্কোর বসানো ডেপুটি মেয়রের মৃত্যু কীভাবে হল, তা নিয়ে জল্পনা শুরু হয়েছে। তবে কিরিলের মৃত্যুর কারণ জানা যায়নি এখনও পর্যন্ত। রাশিয়ার তরফেও এ বিষয়ে কোনও মন্তব্য করা হয়নি এখনও পর্যন্ত।
