সমলিঙ্গে বিবাহের পর যুগলদের এবার আশীর্বাদে সিলমোহর দিলেন গোটা বিশ্বের ক্যাথলিক চার্চের প্রধান পোপ ফ্রান্সিস। কি দিন ধরেই ইংল্যান্ড সহ বেশ কয়েকটি দেশে সমলিঙ্গ বিবাহের পর আশীর্বাদ করছিলেন বিভিন্ন দেশের গির্জার পোপ প্রধানরা। যা নিয়ে জোর বিতর্ক হচ্ছিল। তবে এবার পোপ ফ্রান্সিস নিজে এগিয়ে এসে জানালেন, মানুষের স্বাধীনতা ও বেছে নেওয়ার অধিকারে সবার সম্মান জানানো উচিত। এবার থেকে সমকামী সম্পর্ক, সমলিঙ্গ বিবাহের ক্ষেত্রে আশীর্বাদ করা হবে। এমনই জানালেন পোপ ফ্রান্সিস।
