স্কটল্যান্ডের গুরুদ্বারায় শিখ বিচ্ছিন্নতাবাদীদের বাধায় প্রবেশ করতে পারেননি ভারতীয় রাষ্ট্রদূত বিক্রম দোরাইস্বামী। স্কটল্যান্ডের গ্লাসগোর ওই গুরুদ্বারায় দোরাইস্বামীকে প্রবেশে বাধা দেওয়া হলে, পরিস্থিতি পর্যবেক্ষণ করে তিনি ফিরে আসেন। এরপরই বিষয়টি নিয়ে ব্রিটেনের বিদেশমন্ত্রকের সামনে উত্থাপন করা হয়। ব্রিটেনের প্রধানমন্ত্রী ঋষি সুনক সরকার যাতে সংশ্লিষ্ট বিষয়ে হস্তক্ষেপ করে, সে বিষয়ে জানানো হয় ভারতের তরফে। পাশাপাশ স্কটল্যান্ড পুলিশের নজরেও বিষয়টি উত্থাপন করা হয়েছে বলে খবর।
