মঙ্গলবার গ্রেফতার হয়েছেন পাকিস্তানের প্রাক্তন প্রধানমন্ত্রী ইমরান খান। ইসলামাবাদ হাইকোর্ট চত্বর থেকে নাটকীয়ভাবে আধা সামরিক বাহিনীর হাতে গ্রেফতার হয়েছেন তিনি।
মঙ্গলবার গ্রেফতার হয়েছেন পাকিস্তানের প্রাক্তন প্রধানমন্ত্রী ইমরান খান (Imran Khan’s Arrest)। ইসলামাবাদ হাইকোর্ট চত্বর থেকে নাটকীয়ভাবে আধা সামরিক বাহিনীর হাতে গ্রেফতার হয়েছেন তিনি। তারপর থেকেই বিক্ষোভের কার্যত রণক্ষেত্র হয়ে রয়েছে পাকিস্তান। শুধু পাকিস্তান নয় এর আঁচ গিয়ে পড়েছে ওয়াশিংটনেও।
বুধবার সকালে ওয়াশিংটন ডিসিতে পাকিস্তানের রাষ্ট্রদূতের বাসভবনের বাইরে পাকিস্তানের প্রাক্তন প্রধানমন্ত্রী ইমরান খানকে গ্রেপ্তারের প্রতিবাদে বিক্ষোভ প্রদর্শন করছেন প্রবাসী পাকিস্তানের নাগরিকরা। তাদের মধ্যে এক বিক্ষোভকারী ইমরান বলেছেন, "...ইমরান খানের কিছু হলে, আমি পাকিস্তানে সবচেয়ে খারাপ পরিস্থিতি হওয়ার আশঙ্কা করছি।তাই আমরা তার অবিলম্বে মুক্তি দাবি করছি..."
