শুক্রবারের সকালে কেঁপে উঠল চিন। আজ ভোরে ভূমিকম্প অনুভূত হয় চিনে। রিখটার স্কেলে কম্পনের মাত্রা ছিল ৪.৫। ন্যাশনাল সেন্টার ফর সিসমোলজি ( National Center for Seismology) জানিয়েছে, ভারতীয় সময় সকাল ৬টা ২৯ মিনিটে ৪.৫ মাত্রার কম্পন হয় চিনে। এর উৎস ছিল মাটির ১০ কিলোমিটার গভীরে। যা থেকে ৪২৮ কিলোমিটার দক্ষিণ পূর্বে।

অন্য দিকে, মধ্যরাতে কেঁপে ওঠে আফগানিস্তান (Afghanistan) ও। ন্যাশনাল সেন্টার ফর সিসমোলজির তথ্য অনুসারে, এই কম্পনের মাত্রা রিখটার স্কেলে ছিল ৪। মাটি থেকে ১২০ কিলোমিটার গভীরে ছিল এর উৎস। ভারতীয় সময় রাত ১২টা ৪৭ মিনিটে ওই ভূমিকম্প হয়।
