Afghanistan Earthquake: পাকিস্তানের সঙ্গে যুদ্ধের মাঝে হঠাৎ বিপর্যয়, প্রবল কম্পনে কেঁপে উঠল আফগানিস্তান
ফের ভূমিকম্প (Earthquake In Afghanistan)। এবার আবার নতুন করে ভূমিকম্পে কেঁপে উঠল আফগানিস্তান। রিখটার স্কেলে আজকের কম্পনের মাত্রা ছিল ৫.৬। আফগানিস্তান, তাজিকিস্তান সীমান্ত থেকে ১০ কিলোমিটার দক্ষিণ-পূর্বে আজকের কম্পন অনুভূত হয়। যার জেরে গোটা এলাকায় আতঙ্ক ছড়িয়ে পড়ে। মানুষ ঘরের বাইরে বেরিয়ে আসতে শুরু করেন।
গত ৪ সেপ্টেম্বর আফগানিস্তান একবার কেপে ওঠে। ওই সময় কম্পনের মাত্রা ছিল ৬.২। সেপ্টেম্বরে যে কম্পন অনুভূত হয়, তার জেরে আফগানিস্তানে ২,২০০ মানুষের মৃত্যু হয়। সেই সঙ্গে আহত হন আরও অনেকে। সেপ্টেম্বরের ওই কম্পনের পর আফগানিস্তানের বেশ কয়েকটি গ্রাম ধুলিস্যাৎ হয়ে যায়। মানুষ ধ্বংসাবশেষের নীচে চাপা পড়ে থাকেন। যেখান থেকে তাঁদের অতি কষ্টে উদ্ধার করা হয়।
তবে মহিলাদের পরপুরুষের স্পর্শে নিষেধ বলে করুণ কাহিনী তৈরি হয়। ওই সময় ধবংসাবশেষের নীচে বহু মহিলাকে জীবিত অবস্থায় ছেড়ে দিতে বাধ্য হন উদ্ধারকারী দলের সদস্যরা।
ওই ঘটনার পর ফের ভূমিকম্পে কেঁপে উঠল আফগানিস্তান...
