শিকাগোর গ্যারান্টিড রেট ফিল্ড বেসবল স্টেডিয়ামে ম্যাচ চলাকালীন গোলাগুলির কাণ্ড (Chicago Shooting)। ঘটনায় দুজনের আহত হওয়ার খবর জানা গিয়েছে। পুলিশ সূত্রে খবর, গতকাল রাত ৮ঃ৪৫ নাগাদ স্টেডিয়ামে শিকাগো হোয়াইট সক্স খেলা চলাকালীন গুলি চলে। ম্যাচ চলাকালীন গুলিবর্ষণের ঘটনায় উপস্থিত দর্শদের মধ্যে ভীতিকর পরিস্থিতির সৃষ্টি হয়। যার জেরে গেম-পরবর্তী কনসার্টটি বাতিল করতে বাধ্য হয়েছে কর্তৃপক্ষ। কী কারণে এদিন ম্যাচ চলাকালীন গুলি চলেছে কিংবা কে বা কারা গুলি চালিয়েছে সেই বিষয়ে পুলিশ বিশদে কিছু জানায়নি। হোয়াইট সক্সও এই ঘটনায় এখনও কোনও মন্তব্য করেনি।
