রাষ্ট্রসংঘের (UNGA) অধিবেশনে হাজির হলেন মহম্মদ ইউনূস (Muhammad Yunus)। রাষ্ট্রসংঘের সাধারণ অধিবেশন উপলক্ষ্যে নিউ ইয়র্কে হাজির (New York) হলেন বাংলাদেশের অন্তবর্তী সরকারের প্রধান উপদেষ্টা মহম্মদ ইউনূস। ২২ সেপ্টেম্বর ঢাকা থেকে নিউ ইয়র্কের উদ্দেশে রওনা দেন মহম্মদ ইউনূস। রাষ্ট্রসংঘের ৮০তম অধিবেশনে হাজির হতে জেনারেল মির্জা ফখরুল ইসলাম আলমগীর, হুমায়ূন কবীর, নাইব আমীর সৈয়দ আবদুল্লাহ মুহাম্মদ তাহের এবং আখতার হোসেনকে নিয়ে নিউ ইয়র্কের উদ্দেশে উড়ে যান ইউনূস। আগামী ২৬ সেপ্টেম্বর রাষ্ট্রসংঘের সাধারণ অধিবেশনে মহম্মদ ইউনূস বক্তব্য রাখবেন বলে জানা যাচ্ছে।
