বাহরিনে নিজেদের দূতাবাস খুলল ইজরায়েল। দীর্ঘ বেশ কয়েক বছর পর ইজরায়েলের সঙ্গে সম্পর্ক নরম হয়েছে বাহরিনের। ইজরায়েলের বিদেশমন্ত্রী এলি কোচেনের উপস্থিতিতে দূতাবাসের উদ্বোধন করা হয়। সোমবার এই নতুন দূতাবাসের উদ্বোধঘন করা হয়।
বাহরিনের উচ্চ পদস্থ আধিকারিকদের পক্ষ থেকে জানানো হয়েছে যে এই উদ্যোগ দুই দেশের মধ্যে সম্পর্ককে আরও শক্তিশালী করবে।দূতাবাসের উদ্বোধনের পর দুই দেশের মধ্যে ব্যাবসা, বাণিজ্য, প্রযুক্তিগত বিনিময়, পর্যটন নিয়েও আলোচনা হয়।
