সেমেরু (Semeru) আগ্নেয়গিরির অগ্নুৎপাতের (Volcano Erupts) জেরে কার্যত আতঙ্ক ছড়িয়েছে ইন্দোনেশিয়ায় ( Indonesia)। সেমেরুর অগ্নুৎপাতের জেরে এখনও পর্যন্ত ৩৪ জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। নিখোঁজ কমপক্ষে ১৭। সেমেরুর অগ্নুৎপাত বন্ধ হওয়ার পর পূর্ব জাভায় উদ্ধার কাজ শুরু করেছে বিপর্যয় মোকাবিলাকারী দল। সেমেরুর অগ্নুৎপাতের জেরে পূর্ব জাভায় কার্যত মৃত্যু মিছিল শুরু হয়েছে। ড্রোনের মাধ্যমে যে ছবি প্রাকশ্যে আসছে, তা দেখে শিউরে উঠেছেন অনেকেই। গত শনিবার পূর্ব জাভার সেমেরু আগ্নেয়গিরি থেকে অগ্নুৎপাত শুরু হয়। যার জেরে কমপক্ষে ৩৭০০ মানুষ নিজেদের ঘরবাড়ি ছেড়ে প্রাণ হাতে নিয়ে পালিয়েছেন।
