আফগানিস্তানে (Afghanistan) কোনও পোস্তর চাষ করা যাবে না। আফগানিস্তানে কোনও নেশার দ্রব্যের চাষে করা যাবে না। ফলে আফগানিস্তান জুড়ে যে পোস্তর চাষে হচ্ছে, তা কোনওভাবে আর করা যাবে না। এমনই নির্দেশ জারি করা হল তালিবানের তরফে। ফলে আফগানিস্তানের বিভিন্ন জায়গায় যে পোস্তার চাষ হচ্ছে, তা অবিলম্বে বন্ধ করা হচ্ছে তালিবান সরকারের তরফে। পোস্ত চাষ করা কৃষকরা যার জেরে ফাঁপরে পড়েছেন। প্রসঙ্গত এই প্রথম নয়, এর আগে ক্ষমতায় আসার পরপরও আফগানিস্তানে পোস্তর চাষ নিষিদ্ধ করা হয় তালিবান (Taliban) সরকারের তরফে।
