পশ্চিমবঙ্গের পঞ্চায়েত নির্বাচনের আগে রাজ্যে সাম্প্রতিক হিংসার ঘটনা সম্পর্কে তিনি বলেন, "আমার উদ্দেশ্য হল রাজ্যের পরিস্থিতি অবিলম্বে পরিবর্তন করা। আমরা এই অবস্থা আর সহ্য করতে পারছি না এবং আমরা এটা আর সহ্য করব না।
পঞ্চায়েত ভোট হতে এখনও ১০ দিন বাকি। এরইমধ্যে রাজ্যে গত ১৮ দিনে, রাজনৈতিক সন্ত্রাসের বলি হয়েছে ১০-১০টা প্রাণ। রাজ্যের এই অশান্ত পরিস্থিতি নিয়ে কঠোর অবস্থান নিলেন পশ্চিমবঙ্গের রাজ্যপাল সিভি আনন্দ বোস। পশ্চিমবঙ্গের পঞ্চায়েত নির্বাচনের আগে রাজ্যে সাম্প্রতিক হিংসার ঘটনা সম্পর্কে তিনি বলেন, "আমার উদ্দেশ্য হল রাজ্যের পরিস্থিতি অবিলম্বে পরিবর্তন করা। আমরা এই অবস্থা আর সহ্য করতে পারছি না এবং আমরা এটা আর সহ্য করব না। সাংবাদিক সম্মেলনে রাজ্যপাল কী বললেন শুনে নেব-
