রামপুরহাট সহ রাজ্যের বিভিন্ন প্রান্তে আইনশৃঙ্খলার খারাপ হাল নিয়ে তোলপাড় রাজ্য রাজনীতি। পশ্চিমবঙ্গ বিধানসভায় ধুন্ধুমার, বিরোধী দলনেতা শুভেন্দু অধিকারী সহ পাঁচ বিজেপি বিধায়ক সাসপেন্ড হলেন। এর মধ্যেই দিল্লিতে নিজের বাসভবনে পশ্চিমবাঙলার রাজ্যপাল জগদীপ ধনখড়ের সঙ্গে বৈঠক করলেন কেন্দ্রীয় স্বরাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী অমিত শাহ। সূত্রের খবর, দুজনের মধ্যে বাংলার বিভিন্ন প্রান্তে হিংসা নিয়ে আলোচনা হয়। বীরভূমের বগুটইকাণ্ডের পর বিজেপি কেন্দ্রীয় হস্তক্ষেপের দাবি তোলে। এর মাঝে শাহ-ধনখড় বৈঠক নয়া জল্পনা তৈরি করল।
